While browsing LinkedIn, you saw a video which you particularly liked. Whatever funny, serious, source inspiration, whether it’s an interview, a report or an advertisement, you have all the reasons in the world to want to download a LinkedIn video to view it later, or share it with your own content (without forget to quote the source!).

But how to download a video LinkedIn?

There is a quick and easy way to download a video from LinkedIn to your computer: the famous right click. Widely used to save images, right click works also to download a video from the LinkedIn site.

To do this, nothing simpler ! There you just right click on the LinkedIn video then click on “Save the video as …” or type on your keyboard the command CTRL + S. Now you just have to save the video in the folder of your choice on your computer.

This is personally my favorite method: quick and easy to use. With this method to download video LinkedIn, I can quickly record interesting videos on which I can come back to to deepen its content … Or share it!

To download a LinkedIn video, you can also use an extension on your internet browser. The advantage is you don’t have to download any software, everything happens online so secure!

Video DownloadHelper extension is particularly easy to use and can be downloaded from Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. Available for free for basic features, including downloading video, the extension is easy to use.

To install it on your browser, go to in the Tools> Extensions menu, then type Video DownloadHelper in the search bar. Once the extension is installed, you will see it appear in the toolbar of your browser the logo of the application (three balls stuck to each other). From the icon you can start downloading LinkedIn videos!

Upload a LinkedIn video: not possible from a smartphone

Unfortunately, it is still impossible to directly download a LinkedIn video from your smartphone. If while browsing the LinkedIn mobile app you saw a video that you want to download, the easiest way (everything is relative, you’ll see…) is to remember the name of the person or company who shared it , to find a computer, to connect to LinkedIn, find the video by digging a bit, use one of the two methods described above, then move the downloaded video from the computer to your smartphone. Not very intuitive, this method can quickly become time-consuming if you want to download several videos!
